Trailblazer IV Two-Fifth's Marathon

It's Saturday, September 28th, 2013, 7:42 a.m.
The parental unit and I are in Arlington, TX at Cravens Park.
As you can see - we're happy to be awake!

I thought the race started at 8 a.m. I was wrong. It started at 8:30.
When 8:30 rolled around it still didn't start.
This race was poorly organized, but finally it started!
The weather called for rain, so hopefully we ran before it did.

As I type this at 2:44 pm now it's lightening outside and storming.
GLAD we made it!

Anyways our goal was to be done in two hours, ha-ha.
Hint Hint - Goal. Well, that was SM's goal anyway.
She came in at the 3 hour mark I believe?

As we waited for the race to begin I took a picture of my legs.
I think they look really really skinny - me gusta.
The race started and we ran. I left dad and SM in the dust.

^ I was runner 156 ^

I somehow ended up in the middle of the fast people and the slow people.
Most of the entire race I was alone on the trail.
Bummer.

My ass started to hurt after the fifth mile mark.
Then my thighs, and feet, and left arm.
I thought I was going to die, ha-ha.
Getting the medal was all I cared about at this point!

I finished finally in 2 hours and 32 minutes I believe with the actual time.
I don't know - I'll post my actual time when they post it.
These are the stats from my Nike Running App!
I had to restart it in the beginning so that is why I'm missing a few feet.
I ran my farthest run and completed my fastest 10K!
Not to mention my mom called me during my race.
She should have known it would take about two and a half hours!

Anyways I finished my run and enjoyed my medal!
Now all I'd have to do is wait for my dad and SM to reappear.
They reappeared about twenty to forty-five minutes later!

While I went to go get the car my dad was at the medal ceremony.
They called my name for the second place in my age group!
I couldn't believe it. I was shocked when he told me in the car.

So gold is for participation, silver for placing second in my age group!
How freakin' excited! I never thought I'd do that!

Especially after I had stopped running the last month and a half before.
I can't believe I medaled twice. ASDFGHJKL;

Here's my medals view from the car when I was driving.
I felt pretty amazing and still do!

Shark's Bites Of Life

Our tank and tee sponsor for September is none other than the infamous Shark's Bites Of Life! Two words can only describe Shark's handmade tee's and tanks: Awesome Sauce

Shark a.k.a. Theresa, hails from Scottsdale, AZ and at first thought you'd think, "There aren't any sharks in Arizona." Well you may or may not be correct - I have no clue! However, what I do know is Theresa's tanks are motivational and after the week I had, I need some motivation. What better way to get motivated then wearing a kickass tank? Nothing. Absolutely nothing gets better than that.

This is my awesome sauce tank:

It speaks powerful, truthful words:

Now with each shirt Shark has added a little tag (which can't be any cuter >.<) to the side. On the back of the card gives her name and the store address, along with the Facebook page address so you can contact her in case of a problem, or you know, to tell her how awesome your tank is!

My tank is incredibly soft. The camo lines (that's what I'm gonna call them) at first seemed to be see through. Like, I was a little nervous first that I'd be wearing a camo see through shirt, but it turns out it isn't really sea through at all. You can physically see that in the video posted below. Knowing that it wasn't see through made me extremely more comfortable and more willing to wear it out in public a lot more.

My tank is 65% Polyester  and 35% Cotton. This is probably the case with most, if not all, tanks and tee's but just to be sure I wanted to say my tank was. It's also a Next Level Apparel tank. Oo-lala.

Now Shark is a fitness fanatic. So if you ever have a question not only about the shirt, but maybe a fitness question that you ask me and I respond with, "What is that? Is that even possible? I don't understand how your body gets to bend that way.." then she might be the person for you. Her husband is the personal training head at Life Time Athletic so if she doesn't know, she could probably just call on her hubby for the answer!

Here's a little information on her store and what it's all about:
Shark's Bites of Life is finally open and ready to style your healthy happy lifestyle. I have men's t-shirts, women's t-shirts and tank tops. Currently I have 5 designs to choose from and you can count on plenty more in the near future!  Currently my turnaround time for production is 4 days, I make each item as it is ordered!! If you saw an item that isn't up on my shop yet you can just message me and ill give you the details!

You can find Shark on these sites and visit her store here!

That's right. I wore a dress, in public, and got sunburned.
Then it rained.

Lan Time

Is this Vacation house just the cutest little thing you've ever seen?

Dan and Heather seem to always be tired.. maybe if they slept... :P

Time for some Texas Hold Em! It came down to Caz and I!
Caz had never played poker and I was just a "wild card"
We went head to head and I won!

Finally it came down to Halo time. Let the betting begin!

I dominated in Halo:CE with rockets on rat race and then KOTH!
I barely won in KOTH with only a second! INTENSE!!

Then came Halo 3 in a 2v2 death match. My teammate was Caz.
We crushed our competition and won!

Then we played Halo 3 for a little casual play!

Jay  became my teammate and then we got this random message.
Weirdo.

DOMINATED ON COMPETITION!

BBQ @ Jay's

It's BBQ time at Jay's house! It is Saturday afternoon.
Whoop Whoop.

Marley, the amazing graphic designer, was put to work to decorate the cake that Heather had created for our BBQ. Thankfully I was wearing my very own custom made SSG shirt and had the our logo on the back. Marley got to work and made it look amazing!
Then Heather and I turned it gay.

The finish product!
